We supply filament. You make the magic.

Every week, customers attach photos of their prints to their reviews, and honestly, some of them stop us in our tracks. Dragons, engine blocks, glow in the dark axolotls, even parts for ocean research gear. Here are some of our favourites, printed in EconoFil PLA, PETG and TPU, plus a look at our newer Hyper PLA and Matte PLA lines.

Rated 4.57 out of 5, 4,500+ verified store reviews

We spend a lot of time talking about our filament. This post is not that. This post is about what you do with it. Every photo below was uploaded by a real customer with their verified review, exactly as they shared it. Quotes are theirs too. We just picked favourites, which was harder than it sounds.

EconoFil Standard PLA

Our everyday workhorse, and by far the most photographed filament in the store. More than a hundred customers have attached print photos to their EconoFil PLA reviews, and the range is wild: cartoon characters, articulated dragons, multi day mechanical prints, painted keepsakes.

Reviewer quote of the year, maybe

“Forward Green is more like 'burn your eyeballs on a green and yellow sun'. Extremely bright stuff, we loved it! Canadian 3D printing company who wants to have a Canadian supply chain so we'll be back!” Erick T., on EconoFil Forward Green.

PETG

PETG is what you reach for when a print has a job to do: outdoor parts, functional prints, anything that needs a little more toughness and temperature resistance than PLA. Our customers apparently also reach for it when they want vases the colour of mint ice cream.

Michael · Pastel Green vases

Mason jar mounted on a clean 3D printed stand in EconoFil Grey PETG

TPU

Flexible filament has a reputation for being fussy. Then you see what people actually make with it: luggage tags that survive airline baggage handling, coasters, watch straps, and honest to goodness scientific equipment on the ocean floor.

EconoFil Hyper PLA

Hyper PLA is our high speed line, tuned for the current generation of fast printers. It's also the newest member of the family, which means the reviews are just starting to come in and the photo section is still warming up. The early word is exactly what we hoped for.

EconoFil Matte PLA

Matte PLA scatters light instead of reflecting it, which hides layer lines on big flat surfaces and gives prints an almost injection moulded look. The classic Matte Black and Matte White have been joined by a run of new pastels, and reviewers have noticed exactly the thing matte is famous for.

★★★★★

“This Matte Black PLA prints better and more smoothly than any other PLA or Matte PLA I've used! Definitely going to get more when I run out, especially considering it's local to me.”

Bradley Z. · Matte Black
★★★★★

“The matte filament prints the top layers flawlessly. Anything with a large top surface area comes out looking incredible!”

Zero photo reviews. Really?

Here's the strange part: matte fans keep leaving five star reviews, but not one has ever attached a print photo. Those clean, line-free top surfaces deserve to be seen. Add a photo to your next review and yours will be the first matte print ever featured here.
